Dr. Affinito is the author of "When to Forgive," published in 1999 by New Harbinger Publications, and of "Helping with Forgiveness Decisions: A Brief Guide for Counselors," originally published by Manisses Communications Group in 1998. The latter is now available in an up-dated publication by the author titled "Helping with Forgiveness Decisions: A Practical Model for Counselors." A companion publication, "Forgiving One Page at a Time," targeted towards a more general audience, is in the works. Once there was the Adolescent Crisis. Growing pains weren't pleasant, but it was exciting to know that a new Self was developing. Then we recognized the Mid-Life Crisis, also painful, but with the same anticipation of an emerging Self. Now with our long lives we can anticipate a growth spurt every ten years or so.
